How to Mega Evolve Your Pokémon in Battle

Gather the Required Items

To Mega Evolve during combat, you need two items:

• A Key Stone (held by your trainer or in your bag)
• A Mega Stone matching your Pokémon's species

Obtain Mega Stones using /genesis giveMegaStone <player> <mega-stone> or find them through gameplay.

Equip and Battle

1. Give your Pokémon the corresponding Mega Stone as a held item before entering battle

2. Ensure you have a Key Stone in your possession

3. During battle, select the move you want to use, then confirm the Mega Evolution prompt

4. Your Pokémon will transform into its Mega form for the remainder of the battle

Out-of-Battle Mega Evolution

Some Pokémon can Mega Evolve outside of combat if they hold their Mega Stone and you have a Key Stone. This is useful for exploration or traversal, though the form reverts when you enter a new area or battle.

Tip: You can only Mega Evolve once per battle, so choose your moment strategically.
