How do I get started with battle transformations?
You need the appropriate items for each transformation type: Key Stones and Mega Stones for Mega Evolution, Tera Orbs and Tera Shards for Terastallization, Z Rings and Z Crystals for Z-Power, or Dynamax Bands and Wishing Stars for Dynamax. Admins can distribute these using /genesis commands, or you can find them through normal gameplay progression.
What's the difference between Mega Evolution and Dynamax?
Mega Evolution permanently changes your Pokémon's stats and appearance during battle using a Key Stone and Mega Stone, while Dynamax temporarily makes your Pokémon giant for three turns using a Dynamax Band. Mega Evolution is permanent until the battle ends, whereas Dynamax has a turn limit.
Can I use multiple battle gimmicks on the same Pokémon in one battle?
No, you can only use one transformation per Pokémon per battle—you must choose between Mega Evolution, Terastallization, Z-Power, or Dynamax for each Pokémon depending on what items you have equipped.
Do I need a client mod to use these battle mechanics?
No, this mod runs entirely on the server side, so players can use all battle gimmicks without installing anything on their client.
How do I change a legendary Pokémon's form?
Give your legendary Pokémon the appropriate held item (like a Rusted Sword, Red Orb, or Arceus Plate) and it will change form automatically. Some forms require key items like Gracidea Flowers or DNA Splicers instead.
What do I do with Tera Shards?
Collect Tera Shards of different types and use them with a Tera Orb during battle to Terastallize your Pokémon, changing its type to match the shard you used.
How do I unlock Gigantamax forms?
Use Max Soup or Max Honey on your Pokémon to unlock their Gigantamax potential, then use a Dynamax Band in battle to trigger the transformation.
Can I use Z-Power moves outside of battle?
No, Z-Power moves and all other battle transformations only work during active Pokémon battles.
What happens if I lose a Mega Stone or battle item?
You can ask an admin to use /genesis commands to give you another copy, or you can obtain new items through normal gameplay progression depending on your server's setup.
Do form changes from abilities or moves work with this mod?
Yes, in-battle form shifts like Hangry Mode and Sword Stance trigger automatically when their associated moves or abilities activate, alongside the mod's transformation mechanics.
