How to Dynamax or Gigantamax Your Pokémon

Collect Dynamax Items

Dynamax lets your Pokémon grow giant in battle. You need:

• A Dynamax Band (held by your trainer)
• Wishing Stars or Max Mushrooms (consumable fuel)
• Max Soup (optional, for Gigantamax eligibility)

Use /genesis giveBagItem <player> <bag-item> to obtain consumables.

Dynamax in Battle

1. Equip your trainer with a Dynamax Band

2. Stock your bag with Wishing Stars or Max Mushrooms

3. During battle, activate Dynamax when prompted

4. Your Pokémon grows to enormous size for three turns

5. Moves become Max Moves with enhanced power and secondary effects

6. After three turns, your Pokémon returns to normal size

Gigantamax Form

If your Pokémon has been treated with Max Soup, it can Gigantamax instead of regular Dynamax. Gigantamax changes your Pokémon's appearance and provides unique Max Moves unavailable to other Pokémon.

Tip: Use Dynamax defensively to tank hits or offensively to sweep weakened opponents.
