Troubleshoot Parrots Still Appearing Blocky

Verify Resource Pack is Active

Open your resource packs menu and confirm Prettier Parrots appears in the Active column on the right side of the screen. If it's in the inactive list, click it and select the arrow to move it to active. Reload your world after making changes.

Check Dependency Mods

Confirm that either Optifine or both Entity Texture Features and Entity Model Features are installed and enabled:

• Check your mods folder for these files
• Restart your launcher to ensure mods load
• Verify they appear in the mods list when launching

Adjust Video Settings

If using Optifine, navigate to Video Settings and confirm Custom Entity Models is enabled. If using the feature mods, no additional settings are needed—they work automatically.

Reload and Test

Exit to the main menu and reload your world. Travel to a jungle biome and look for parrots. If they still appear blocky, try removing and reinstalling the resource pack, ensuring you're using a compatible version with your installed dependency mods.
