Use This Pack Standalone Without Pixel Perfection Legacy

Install as a Solo Resource Pack

You don't need Pixel Perfection Legacy to use PPL Alternative GUI. Simply add it to your resource packs folder and enable it in Options → Resource Packs. The pack works independently, applying the midnight blue GUI theme to all standard Minecraft menus and containers.

Expect Partial Block Textures

When running standalone, you'll see the redesigned hotbar, inventory, crafting interface, and container windows in the muted blue style. However, block and item textures in the world will remain vanilla Minecraft. This is ideal if you prefer the default block appearance but want a calmer, more atmospheric menu experience.

Combine with Other Texture Packs

Stack PPL Alternative GUI with any other resource pack that handles world textures. The GUI pack focuses exclusively on menus and overlays, so it won't conflict with packs like Faithful or custom builds. Adjust pack order in the Resource Packs menu to prioritize your preferred block textures.
