Getting Started

Upon first joining a world, players are typically prompted with a starter selection GUI. If this does not appear, it can be triggered by right-clicking a Healing Table or through the configuration settings.

The Pokéwatch

The Pokéwatch is the central tool for any trainer. It serves as your Pokédex, move manager, and genetic analyzer. - Pokédex: View stats, types, and spawn locations for any Pokemob you have encountered. - Move Management: Change the order of your Pokemob's moves or select which move they should use next in combat. - Trainer Progress: Track your captures, badges, and achievements.

Controls

• R: Send out or call back the selected Pokemob.
• Arrow Keys (Left/Right): Cycle through your active Pokemobs.
• Arrow Keys (Up/Down): Cycle through the selected Pokemob's moves.
• G: Order your Pokemob to use its selected move on a target or location.

Mechanics

Real-Time Combat

Combat in Pokecube is dynamic. When you send out a Pokemob, it will automatically target aggressive mobs or Pokemobs you attack. You can manually command moves using the Pokéwatch or hotkeys. Terrain plays a role; for example, Water-type moves are more effective in rain, and Fire-type moves can set blocks on fire.

Breeding and Genetics

Pokemobs have complex DNA consisting of genes for size, color (including Shiny status), and stats. Breeding two Pokemobs at a Daycare Block will result in an Egg that inherits traits from both parents. Using the Gene Splicer, advanced players can manipulate these genes to create the ultimate Pokemob.

World Interaction

Pokemobs are not just for fighting. By shift-right-clicking a Pokemob, you can toggle its "World Action" mode. Depending on their types and moves, they can: - Cut: Harvest trees and tall grass. - Dig: Mine blocks or dig holes. - Flash: Provide light in dark areas. - Teleport: Return the player to their last spawn point.
