Investigate Server Lag Using Historical Data

Access Performance History

When players report lag that happened hours ago, use /perfhistory to pull up recorded server data from that time period. The plugin automatically logs memory usage, player count, and frame drops over days and weeks, so you can pinpoint exactly when performance dropped.

Identify Patterns

Look for correlations between lag spikes and events—did lag happen when a specific player joined, or when a certain number of players were online? The historical view makes these patterns visible. Check if memory usage was climbing steadily or if there was a sudden crash.

Take Action

Once you've identified the cause, you can adjust server settings or investigate specific players. If lag correlates with a player's activity, cross-reference with /xrayores mining data. If memory is the issue, consider reducing world complexity or player limits during peak hours.
