Performance Analyzer Plugin FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open the performance menu for the first time?
Type /perfgui in chat to open the visual menu showing your server's current stats. If nothing appears, run /perfreload to make sure the plugin has loaded properly.
What does the cheat detection actually detect?
The plugin watches mining patterns and flags players who find diamonds or other rare ores at unusually fast rates compared to normal play. It does not detect all cheats—only suspicious ore-finding behavior.
How do I stop trusted players from triggering cheat alerts?
Use /acwhitelist add [playername] to add them to the safe list, and they will no longer trigger warnings when mining. Use /acwhitelist remove [playername] to remove them later.
Can I see lag that happened hours ago?
Yes—run /perfhistory to view recorded server data going back days or weeks, which helps you identify when lag problems started and spot repeating patterns.
How do I get alerts sent to Discord instead of just chat?
You need to configure the Discord webhook URL in the plugin's settings file, then reload with /perfreload. Check the mod's documentation for the exact config format.
What should I do if the plugin is slowing down my server?
The plugin is designed to be lightweight, but you can reduce overhead by raising the warning thresholds in the config file so fewer alerts trigger, then run /perfreload.
Does this mod work with multiple worlds?
Yes—it supports both simple file-based storage for single worlds and larger database setups for servers running multiple worlds.
How do I know what memory usage is normal?
Use /perfstatus to see your current memory, then check /perfhistory to compare it against your server's typical usage over time—sudden spikes usually mean a problem.
Can I change what counts as a warning or critical alert?
Yes—edit the warning threshold settings in the config file and run /perfreload to apply the changes without restarting.
What's the difference between /xrayalerts and /xrayores?
/xrayalerts shows you flagged players and their warnings, while /xrayores displays detailed mining statistics to help you manually spot suspicious patterns.
