Verify Smite is Working on Your Weapons

Check Your Weapon's Tooltip

When you hold a weapon in your inventory, look at its tooltip in the item description. If Smite has been applied correctly by this data pack, you should see Smite listed among the weapon's abilities or enchantments.

Test Against Undead Mobs

The best way to confirm Smite is active:

1. Equip the weapon you want to test

2. Find an undead enemy (zombie, skeleton, wither skeleton, or similar)

3. Attack the mob and watch the damage number that appears

4. Compare this to the damage dealt to a non-undead mob like a pig or cow

If Smite is working, you'll deal significantly more damage to undead enemies. The damage boost should be noticeable and consistent across attacks.

Troubleshooting

If you don't see Smite on weapons that should have it:

• Verify all three mods are installed: Paladins, Spellblades, and Spell Engine
• Check that the data pack is enabled in your world settings
• Try reloading your world or restarting the game
• Ensure you're using compatible versions of all three mods
