Equip and Fight with the Aeternium Mace

Locate the Aeternium Mace

The aeternium mace is a heavy weapon from the Spellblades mod. Obtain it through crafting or by finding it in loot, depending on your world setup.

Activate Smite Against Undead

Before this data pack, the aeternium mace was missing its Smite ability. Now it's fully patched:

1. Equip the aeternium mace

2. Approach undead mobs

3. Attack—Smite damage is now applied automatically

4. Watch for increased damage numbers compared to hits on living enemies

Combat Strategy

As a heavy weapon, the aeternium mace deals strong base damage. With Smite now active, it becomes especially effective against undead-heavy encounters. Use it in:

• Zombie dungeons
• Skeleton spawners
• Nether fortresses
• Wither fights

The combination of the mace's weight and Smite's holy bonus makes it a reliable choice for paladin-style combat focused on undead elimination.
