Control Your Combat Status and Loot Rules

Toggle Combat Mode On and Off

Combat status determines whether you can engage in PVP and whether other players can target you.

Steps:

1. Type /pvp on to enable combat mode and become a valid target

2. Type /pvp off to disable combat and prevent player attacks

3. Check your current status anytime with /pvp status

Configure Your Loot Drops

Separately, decide what happens to your inventory when defeated in player combat.

Steps:

1. Type /pvpdrops on to drop your full inventory when defeated

2. Type /pvpdrops off to keep your items even after losing a fight

3. Verify your setting with /pvpdrops status

Key Differences

Combat mode (/pvp) controls *whether* you participate in PVP. Loot drops (/pvpdrops) control *what you lose* if defeated. You can be in combat mode but keep your items, or disable combat entirely to avoid fights altogether.

These settings let you balance risk and reward—aggressive players might enable both, while cautious players disable combat to farm safely.
