Challenge a Rival and Compete for Prizes

Send and Customize a Rivalry Challenge

Rivalries let you compete against another player with agreed-upon goals and item rewards. Both players must accept the terms before the rivalry activates.

Steps:

1. Type /rivals challenge <player_name> to send an invitation

2.

3. Once accepted, use /rivals set_rules <rival_name> <rule> to establish custom combat settings or victory conditions

4. Check active goals anytime with /rivals get_goals <rival_name>

Managing Your Rivalry

Both you and your rival can propose rules—these might include kill targets, damage thresholds, or specific item stakes. The plugin tracks progress toward your shared goals.

Your rival appears in /rivals list so you can monitor active competitions. When the rivalry concludes (either naturally or by agreement), end it with /rivals end <null | force>. Use null for a mutual conclusion or force to terminate unilaterally.

Rivalries add structure to long-term competition and ensure both players understand what's at stake before items are wagered.
