Meteor showers trigger as rare celestial events in three wave types: instant (all meteors fall at once), delayed (staggered impacts over time), and directional (meteors approach from one direction). Each type requires slightly different defensive strategies.

Strengthen Your Defense Before Events

Upgrade to advanced lasers before major events occur. Position them to overlap coverage zones and ensure no gaps in your protection grid. Test your laser placement by observing where meteors naturally fall in your area.

Monitor the Sky

Watch for visual signs of incoming meteor activity—glowing streaks across the night sky indicate an active event. When you spot meteors, verify your lasers are firing at them. If meteors break through, repair damaged structures immediately.

Collect Impact Resources

After a shower passes, explore new crater sites for additional meteoric chunks. Shower events create multiple impact zones, providing abundant resources for crafting upgrades and expanding your defense network.

Use the /omm reload command if you need to adjust mod settings between events.
