Create Atmospheric Scenes for Screenshots
Enable Atmospheric Features
Open shader settings and turn on any fog, volumetric lighting, or atmospheric effect options. OffShades includes visual tones from Iteration Shaders, which excel at mood and atmosphere. These settings are usually labeled "Volumetric Fog," "Atmospheric Density," or "Environmental Effects."
Adjust Time of Day
Use commands to set the time to sunrise, sunset, or dusk—these periods have the most dramatic lighting. OffShades' balanced approach means the sky, shadows, and ambient light all work together without looking washed out or overly dark.
Position Your Camera for Lighting
Stand so the sun is behind your subject (backlighting) or to the side. The crisp block details from Complementary Shaders will stand out, and the Photon-inspired lighting will create depth and dimension.
Fine-Tune Exposure and Color
If available, adjust brightness or color saturation slightly. OffShades is already balanced, so subtle tweaks go a long way. Increase saturation slightly for vibrant builds; decrease it for moody, atmospheric shots.
Use Weather
If your shader supports it, enable rain or clouds. The combination of atmospheric effects and OffShades' clean rendering creates compelling, cinematic screenshots.
