Nythral Pvp Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Does this pack change how combat actually works?
No, Nythral PvP only changes how things look on your screen. All game mechanics, damage values, and combat behavior remain exactly the same.
Why can't I see my shield when I'm holding it?
The pack shrinks the shield model so it doesn't block your view during fights. You're still holding it and it still blocks damage—you just can't see it taking up half your screen.
How do I make the fire animation smaller when I'm burning?
The pack automatically reduces the fire overlay when you take fire damage. This happens by default once you install it—no settings to adjust.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs?
Yes, but load Nythral PvP lower in your resource pack list if you want its changes to override other packs. If another pack is below it, that pack's textures will take priority instead.
Does this help me see end crystals better in the Nether or End?
Yes, the pack gives end crystals a full 3D model that stands out more, making them easier to spot and target during fights in any dimension.
Will this pack make my game run slower?
Resource packs have minimal performance impact. Nythral PvP actually removes particles and effects, so it may even improve performance on lower-end systems.
Does the pumpkin blur still appear when I wear a
carved pumpkin?
No, the pack removes the dark vignette that appears around the edges of your screen when wearing a
carved pumpkin.
carved pumpkin. Can I customize which items get shrunk or changed?
Resource packs don't have in-game settings, so you can't toggle individual features. You'd need to edit the pack files yourself or use a different pack for different preferences.
Why do explosion particles look different now?
The pack removes or reduces explosion particles so they don't fill your screen and block your view during chaotic fights.
Does this pack work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so servers won't block you from using it. Other players won't see your changes—only you will.
