Night Striker Dragon Survival Addon Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I become a Night Striker dragon?
Create a new world or use a command to select the Night Striker species during character creation. You'll choose between male and female body types, each with different stat distributions—males get extra health and melee damage, while females have higher agility and smaller hitboxes.
Why do I keep dropping my bow and shield?
Night Strikers cannot equip bows, shields, or tridents by design—these items are automatically dropped from your hands to maintain balance. You'll need to rely on your plasma attacks and melee abilities instead.
How does Shadow Invisibility work and when does it drain mana fast?
Activate Shadow Invisibility to turn invisible by spending mana; the darker your surroundings (lower light levels), the slower your mana drains. Wearing armor increases mana consumption, so strip down if you need invisibility to last longer.
My hunger depletes so fast when sprinting—is this a bug?
High Metabolism is a species trait that accelerates hunger drain during sprints; this is intentional. Manage your food supply carefully and avoid prolonged sprinting unless necessary for survival.
How do I use Climbing Claws to scale walls?
Approach a vertical surface and activate your climbing ability while maintaining hunger in your food bar. You can freely climb as long as you have hunger; running out will cause you to fall.
What's the difference between Plasma Shot and Low-Yield Plasma Shot?
Plasma Shot is a larger explosive blast that destroys terrain and launches multiple targets into the air, while Low-Yield Plasma Shot is a smaller, more precise strike designed for single targets without terrain destruction.
How do I recharge Striker Mana?
Stand in dark areas with light levels of 8 or below to automatically regenerate your mana pool. Seek out caves, night time, or dark structures to recharge between combat encounters.
Why are villagers and farm animals running away from me?
Fear and Terror is a species penalty that causes villagers and passive animals to flee your presence. This is a permanent trait of the Night Striker species and cannot be disabled.
Does Echolocation work through walls and how often can I use it?
Yes, Echolocation pings through walls to reveal nearby mobs and dropped items in your surrounding area. Check your ability cooldown or mana cost to determine how frequently you can activate it.
Do I take fall damage as a Night Striker?
Males take normal fall damage, but females have reduced fall damage as part of their slimmer build. Neither gender is completely immune unless you reach ancient age and unlock Storm Hide's full protection.
