Set Up Dragon Blazes to Display Correctly

Install Entity Model Features First

The Dragon Blazes Resource Pack requires Entity Model Features (EMF) to load the custom dragon models. Without it, Blazes will appear as vanilla floating rods instead of winged dragons.

1. Install Entity Model Features mod into your mods folder

2. Launch Minecraft to confirm EMF loads without errors

3. Close the game

4. Install Neko's Dragon Blazes Resource Pack into your resourcepacks folder

5. Relaunch Minecraft

Verify Dragons Are Rendering

Once both mods are installed:

1. Open your world or create a new one

2. Travel to the Nether

3. Locate a Blaze spawner or find Blazes naturally

4. Confirm you see small red dragons with wings, heads, and tails instead of yellow floating rods

5. Watch them open their mouths before firing fireballs—this is the custom animation in action

If Blazes still look vanilla, check that EMF is enabled in your mod list and that the resource pack is active in your resource pack menu. Both mods must be present for the dragon model to display.
