How do I start using this data pack in my world?
Load the data pack into your world folder and enable it in the world settings before generating new chunks. Once activated, newly explored areas will generate with winter-themed structures instead of regular ones.
Will the data pack affect chunks I've already explored?
No, only newly generated chunks will have the festive variants. Already-explored areas will keep their original structures unless you venture into unloaded terrain.
Where do I find the Christmas village?
The Christmas village generates randomly in newly explored chunks like other structures in the pack. Explore outward from your base in unexplored territory to discover it, or use a map viewer to locate it faster.
Can I remove this data pack without breaking my world?
Yes, you can safely disable or delete the data pack at any time. Future chunk generation will return to normal structures, though any festive buildings you've already found will remain in your world.
Does this work with other Moog's structure packs?
Yes, this data pack is designed to work alongside other Moog's Structure series packs and will add winter variants to their structures in newly generated chunks.
What structures get winter variants?
Arenas, houses, towers, and eight custom tree types from Soaring Structures receive festive updates, plus cartographer towers and large warped towers from Voyager Structures.
Can I use this data pack year-round or only in winter?
You can keep it active anytime you want festive structures, though it's designed to be toggled on during the winter season and removed when you want normal generation again.
Do the festive decorative blocks have any special properties?
