Modded Omelet Modern Spawn Eggs Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

Do I need to install anything else for this pack to work?
No, this is a resource pack only—it works alongside your existing mods without requiring any additional downloads or mod files. Just load it in your resource packs folder and enable it in your world settings.
Why do some modded spawn eggs still look old or pixelated?
The pack covers over 200 mods, but not every mod in existence is included. If a spawn egg looks mismatched, that mod either isn't supported yet or uses a custom egg texture the pack doesn't override. Check the mod list on the wiki to see if yours is covered.
Can I use this pack in survival mode or only creative?
You can use it in both survival and creative mode. In survival, you'll see the updated egg textures when you obtain spawn eggs through commands or mods that add them to the world.
What do I do if a spawn egg texture isn't showing up at all?
First, make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your list. If the egg still doesn't appear, the mod providing that mob may not be compatible with your game version, or the pack may need an update for that specific mod.
Does this pack work with modpacks or only single mods?
It works great with modpacks since it's designed to unify spawn eggs across multiple mods at once. The more mods in your pack that are supported, the more consistent your creative inventory will look.
Will this pack slow down my game or affect performance?
No, resource packs have minimal performance impact. This pack only changes textures, so it won't affect your frame rate or game speed.
How do I find the spawn egg for a specific modded mob?
Use the creative inventory search bar and type the mob's name, or check the mod list on the wiki to confirm the mod is supported and see what the egg looks like. If the mod isn't listed, the pack doesn't include that mob yet.
Can I use this pack with other spawn egg resource packs?
You can load multiple packs, but only one texture will show for each egg—whichever pack is ranked higher in your resource pack list will take priority. If you want to mix and match, you'd need to manually edit the pack files.
What happens if I update my mods but the pack doesn't update?
New mobs added by mod updates won't have redesigned eggs until the pack is updated to include them. Existing eggs should continue to work fine, but new mobs will fall back to their default textures.
Does this pack change anything besides spawn egg textures?
No, it only modifies spawn egg textures to match the modern 1.21.5 art style. It doesn't change mob behavior, drops, or any other game mechanics.
