Understand Biome and Environmental Lighting Effects
How Biome Colors Work
As you walk through different Minecraft biomes, your RGB devices automatically change color to match the environment. This happens without any input from you—the mod detects your location and shifts your lighting accordingly.
Common Biome and Event Colors
- Ocean biomes: Blue lighting
- Grassy plains: Green backlighting
- Nether dimension: Deep red glow
- Warped forest: Cyan and teal colors
- Nether portal: Purple swirl effect
- Thunderstorms: Rapid flashing across all devices
- Damage taken: Red flash or bright shift
- Status effects (poison, fire, wither): Bright warning colors
- Lava or fire blocks: Intense orange or red
Customize Your Experience
If you find certain effects too distracting, open mod settings and toggle off specific triggers like weather alerts or damage flashes. You can also disable individual device types while keeping others active, letting you customize which gear responds to which events.
