When you're carrying a compass in your inventory, Mine Lights transforms your numpad into a directional guide. Each key lights up to show which way you're facing and help you navigate.

How to Use Numpad Navigation

1. Craft or find a compass and place it in your inventory

2. Make sure your numpad device is enabled in mod settings

3. Look at your numpad—the keys will illuminate to show your current direction

4. The lit keys point toward the direction you're facing

5. Turn to rotate which numpad keys light up

This works best with a separate numpad or a keyboard with a dedicated numpad section. The lighting pattern updates in real time as you rotate, making it easier to maintain a heading when exploring or returning to your base. You don't need to hold the compass or equip it—just having it in your inventory is enough.
