MES Biomes O’ Plenty Compat Pack Data Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Do I need both Moog's End Structures and Biomes O' Plenty installed for this to work?
Yes, this compatibility pack requires both parent mods to be installed. Without either one, the block swaps won't happen and you'll see vanilla blocks instead.
Why are my End structures still using vanilla blocks?
Make sure you've run /reload after placing the datapack in your datapacks folder, and that you're exploring chunks you haven't visited before. The datapack only updates structures in newly generated areas.
Do I need to create a new world for the blocks to change?
No, but you do need to explore parts of the End you haven't been to yet. Structures in chunks you've already visited won't update—only new chunks will have the block swaps applied.
What blocks actually get replaced in the structures?
The datapack swaps out vanilla End blocks used in Moog's End Structures buildings for materials from Biomes O' Plenty that match each biome's theme, making the structures blend with their surroundings.
The datapack isn't showing up in my /datapack list. What do I do?
Try running /datapack enable "file/moogs_end_structures_bop_compat" in chat to manually enable it, then use /reload to apply the changes.
Can I use this datapack with other End structure mods?
This pack is specifically designed for Moog's End Structures and Biomes O' Plenty compatibility. Using it with other structure mods may cause conflicts or unexpected results.
Will this datapack affect structures I've already built or explored?
No, it only changes structures in chunks generated after you install and enable the pack. Previously explored areas will keep their original vanilla blocks.
Do I need to do anything special after updating the datapack to a new version?
Place the updated folder in your datapacks directory and run /reload in your world. Again, only new chunks will reflect any changes.
Does this datapack affect performance or cause lag?
The datapack only swaps block types during structure generation and has minimal performance impact. Any lag would come from the parent mods themselves, not this compatibility layer.
Can I disable this datapack without removing it from my folder?
Yes, use /datapack disable "file/moogs_end_structures_bop_compat" to turn it off, then /reload to apply the change. You can re-enable it anytime.
