Making Steel, Bronze, and Alloys

Bronze

Combine Copper and Tin in a Crafting Formula or use a Metallurgic Infuser equivalent path via your available machines. The result is Bronze Ingot. Store it as Block of Bronze for compact storage. Bronze Nugget is available for fine-grained recipes.

Steel

Produce Enriched Iron, then combine it with Coal in a Smelting Factory or via the appropriate processing chain to get Steel Ingot. Store as Block of Steel. Steel is required for Advanced Control Circuit and many higher-tier machine casings.

Other alloys and blocks

Block of Charcoal is made by compressing Charcoal. Block of Fluorite comes from Fluorite. Block of Lead, Block of Tin, Block of Osmium, Block of Uranium, Block of Raw Lead, Block of Raw Osmium, Block of Raw Tin, and Block of Raw Uranium are all available for storage. Use a Basic Compressing Factory or Advanced Compressing Factory to compress ingots and raw materials into blocks efficiently. Keep a Dictionary nearby to check ore dictionary equivalents when a recipe accepts multiple variants.
