How to Set Up Your First Mekanism Ore Processing Line

Build the Enrichment Stage

Place a Crusher and feed it raw ore or ore blocks. The Crusher outputs two Crushed Ore per input, doubling your yield before any further processing. Route power into the Crusher with a Basic Universal Cable connected to a Basic Energy Cube.

Extend to Enrichment and Smelting

Place an Enrichment Chamber next to the Crusher. Pipe Crushed Ore from the Crusher into the Enrichment Chamber using a Basic Logistical Transporter or Basic Mechanical Pipe. The Enrichment Chamber converts each Crushed Ore into a Dust. Move that Dust into a Basic Smelting Factory to produce Ingots.

For a three-stage line, add a Purification Chamber after the Enrichment Chamber. Feed it Oxygen from a Chemical Oxidizer and the Crushed Ore from the Crusher. The Purification Chamber outputs Clumps. Send Clumps to a Crusher for Dirty Dust, then to an Enrichment Chamber for Dust, then to a Smelting Factory for Ingots.

Move Items Between Machines

Use Basic Logistical Transporter to pull from one machine and push into the next. Configure each transporter with a Configurator to set input and output sides. Power every machine with Basic Universal Cable from a single Basic Energy Cube. Upgrade machines with Basic Tier Installer to unlock faster processing and more upgrade slots. Add Speed Upgrades and Energy Upgrades through the machine's upgrade tab to raise throughput without rebuilding the line.
