From Ore to Dust

Start with a Crusher or Enriching Factory. Feed raw ore in and it outputs dust, effectively doubling your yield compared to a vanilla furnace. Power the machine from a Basic Energy Cube through Basic Universal Cable. Pipe dust into a Basic Smelting Factory so ingots come out automatically without you moving items by hand.

Chaining Factories Together

Use Basic Logistical Transporter to move items between machines. Place a Basic Bin at the end of the line to collect finished ingots. A Basic Combining Factory combines dusts into other materials, while a Basic Compressing Factory handles compression recipes. Each factory tier processes more items per operation; upgrade with a Basic Tier Installer to reach Advanced Crushing Factory, Advanced Enriching Factory, Advanced Smelting Factory, and so on.

Purifying for Higher Yield

For the best ore multiplier, route crushed ore through a Purifying Factory. This uses chemicals delivered by Basic Pressurized Tube from a Chemical Dissolution Chamber and Chemical Washer chain. The purified output then goes to a Chemical Injection Chamber or Chemical Crystallizer before smelting. Set every tube and transporter direction with a Configurator so items and chemicals only travel forward through the chain. Keep an Advanced Bin at the end so your stockpile never backs up and stalls the line.
