How to Produce Steel, Bronze, and Alloys in Mekanism

Make Steel

Combine Coal Dust and Iron in a Metallurgic Infuser to produce Enriched Iron, then infuse that with more Coal Dust to produce Steel Ingot. Coal Dust comes from crushing Coal in a Crusher or Enrichment Chamber. Store finished Steel as a Block of Steel for compact storage.

Make Bronze

Combine Copper Dust and Tin Dust in a crafting grid to produce Bronze Dust, then smelt the dust into Bronze Ingot. Get Copper Dust by crushing Copper Ore or Copper Ingot in a Crusher. Get Tin Dust the same way from Tin Ore. Store Bronze as a Block of Bronze.

Make Atomic Alloy

Atomic Alloy requires Enriched Iron and Obsidian Dust combined in a Metallurgic Infuser with Infused Diamond. Produce Infused Diamond by infusing a Diamond with Coal Dust, then infuse Enriched Iron with the Infused Diamond to yield Atomic Alloy. Atomic Alloy feeds into advanced machine recipes and upgrades.

Store and Move Alloys

Use Basic Bins or Advanced Bins to hold dusts and ingots separately. Route Crusher output into bins with Basic Logistical Transporter so dusts stay sorted. Smelt ingots in a Basic Smelting Factory to process several at once, and upgrade to an Advanced Smelting Factory when you need more parallel smelting slots.
