How to Move Items, Fluids, and Chemicals with Mekanism Pipes

Item Transport

Use Basic Mechanical Pipe for short direct runs between two machines. For longer runs and filtering, use Basic Logistical Transporter, then upgrade to Advanced Logistical Transporter with a Basic Tier Installer or Advanced Tier Installer. Place a Configurator on the pipe and right-click to set pull or push mode. Use a Diversion Transporter when you need to split a line into two destinations.

Fluids and Chemicals

Fluids move through Basic Fluid Tank and Advanced Fluid Tank for storage, and through Basic Mechanical Pipe for transport. Chemicals move through Basic Pressurized Tube and Advanced Pressurized Tube, and store in Basic Chemical Tank or Advanced Chemical Tank. Connect a Chemical Oxidizer, Chemical Infuser, or Chemical Washer with Pressurized Tube to move the gas or slurry to the next machine.

Power and Storage

Run Basic Universal Cable or Advanced Universal Cable to every machine. Store power in Basic Energy Cube or Advanced Energy Cube, and store items in Basic Bin, Advanced Bin, Elite Bin, or Advanced Bin. Use a Configuration Card to copy settings from one machine to another so you do not reconfigure each pipe by hand. A Chargepad lets you recharge tools like the Atomic Disassembler and Electric Bow without cables.
