Mechanization Data Pack — Guide

Energy System

The energy system in Mechanization is the backbone of all machine operations. It uses two primary units: * kW (Kilowatts): Represents the power output or consumption rate. * kJ (Kilojoules): Represents the total energy stored within a battery or machine.

Energy Grids

Machines can be organized into specific networks using Grid IDs. By default, all machines connect to the same global grid. However, players can use the Multimeter to isolate networks.

  • Setting Grid IDs: Sneak + Right-click a machine with a Multimeter to set its ID to your current Grid ID.
  • Changing Your ID: Use the command /trigger mech_gridid set <number> to change your active ID.

Energy Storage

Energy is stored in Batteries, which come in three tiers. Higher tiers offer larger capacities and faster transfer rates.

Battery Tier Capacity Transfer Rate Range
Tier 1 100,000 kJ 100 kW 12 Blocks
Tier 2 500,000 kJ 500 kW 24 Blocks
Tier 3 2,500,000 kJ 2,500 kW 48 Blocks

Resources & Materials

The mod introduces several new ores and materials that are essential for crafting advanced technology.

Custom Ores

These ores generate naturally in the world and appear as custom blocks (player heads with unique textures): * Copper & Tin: Basic metals used for Tier 1 machinery and bronze-like alloys. * Aluminum: Used for lightweight components and specific upgrades. * Titanium: A rare, high-strength metal found deep underground, required for Tier 3 equipment. * Uranium: Used exclusively as fuel for Fission Reactors.

Advanced Alloys

Alloys are created in the Alloy Furnace. They are divided into Tiers based on the materials required.

Alloy Ingot Tier Primary Ingredients
Steel 2 Iron, Coal, Flint
Structural 2 Tin, Lapis, Quartz
Conductive 2 Copper, Gold, Redstone
Crystal Composite 2 Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst
Titanium Steel 3 Steel, Titanium, Blaze Rods
Nether Ingot 3 Titanium, Nether Star, Lava
Ender Ingot 3 Titanium, Chorus Fruit, Dragon's Breath
