With Malfu Combat's custom attack patterns, your old strategies may not work. Weapons no longer behave like vanilla—they have unique timing windows and attack arcs that require adjustment.

Developing New Tactics

Positioning: Stand where the weapon's reach actually connects. Test each weapon's effective range before committing to a fight.

Timing your attacks: Don't spam-click. Watch the animation and swing when enemies are in the right position. Mistiming wastes stamina and leaves you vulnerable.

Choosing the right weapon: Different situations favor different weapons. Faster weapons help against multiple weak mobs; slower, powerful weapons work better against single tough enemies.

Spacing and kiting: Since reach varies, learn each weapon's effective distance. Some weapons reward aggressive play, others reward careful positioning.

Practice Approach

Start with weaker mobs to learn timing without punishment. Gradually face harder enemies as you internalize each weapon's rhythm. The mod rewards players who learn their weapon's unique pattern rather than relying on reflexes alone.
