Adjust Shader Settings for Your Hardware
Access the Shader Menu
Press the Shader Options button in your Video Settings menu (usually accessible via ESC > Options > Video Settings). This opens the Lumeon Shaders configuration panel.
Choose a Performance Profile
Lumeon Shaders includes several preset profiles designed for different PC capabilities:
- Potato: Minimal visual effects; best for low-end hardware
- Low/Medium: Balanced quality and performance
- High/Ultra: Full path-traced lighting, reflections, and bloom effects
Select the profile that matches your system. You can switch profiles at any time without restarting.
Fine-Tune Individual Settings
Once you've chosen a base profile, you can adjust specific features:
- Shadow Quality: Controls softness and spread of shadows
- Reflection Detail: Adjusts water reflection clarity
- Bloom Intensity: Reduces or increases glow around light sources
- Path Tracing Samples: Higher values = better lighting but lower FPS
Start with your chosen profile, then make small adjustments to find the sweet spot between visual quality and frame rate. Monitor your FPS using F3 debug mode to ensure smooth gameplay.
