Navigating Between Climate Zones

Understanding Zone Arrangement

Lithoform Mod organizes the Overworld into five climate zones running from frozen regions to hot deserts. These zones are arranged in wide bands across the landscape, so biomes transition naturally without jarring temperature shifts. Adjacent areas always match climatically—you won't find a frozen tundra next to a scorching desert.

Planning Travel Routes

When traveling long distances, expect to pass through multiple climate zones gradually. Moving north or south will shift you from cold to warm climates in a logical progression. This means your gear and supplies should adapt as you travel—bring cold-weather items when heading toward frozen regions, and prepare for heat when moving toward deserts.

Finding Specific Biomes

If you're searching for a particular biome type, remember it will be located within its corresponding climate zone. Lush forests appear in temperate zones, while unique biomes like Blossom Scarp and Outcrop Woods occupy their own climate bands. Use landmarks and mountain ranges as navigation guides—they often mark zone boundaries.
