Revealing Block Geometry and Terrain Structure
Understanding Point Cloud Visualization
LiDAR S Shaders replaces traditional block textures with digital points and lines. Each block's shape is rendered as a point cloud, allowing you to see the actual geometry of terrain and structures. This makes it easier to understand how blocks connect and how terrain is formed.
Examine Terrain Features
Look at mountains, cliffs, and underground formations. The point cloud reveals the exact shape of terrain layers, showing you where stone transitions to dirt, where ore veins sit, and how water flows through the landscape. You can see block-by-block geometry that's normally hidden by textures.
Study Structures
Buildings and structures become transparent in terms of their internal layout. You can see how blocks are arranged without needing to break them apart. This is useful for understanding construction patterns or finding valuable blocks inside structures.
Adjust Your Perspective
Move around and view terrain from different angles. The point cloud rendering changes as you move, giving you a complete 3D picture of the geometry around you. This spatial awareness helps with mining, building, and navigation.
