Adjusting LiDAR Settings for Better Visibility
Access Shader Settings
Open your shader configuration menu while in-game. LiDAR S Shaders provides adjustable parameters that affect how the point cloud renders. These settings control point density, color, and scanning range.
Modify Point Density
Adjust the point cloud density to balance visibility with performance. Higher density shows more detail but requires more processing power. Lower density creates a sparser view that's easier on your system while still revealing terrain structure.
Change Scanning Range
The shader scans a radius around your character. Adjusting this range lets you see farther or focus on nearby details. A wider range shows more terrain but may impact performance; a tighter range gives you a clearer view of immediate surroundings.
Fine-Tune Colors and Contrast
Experiment with color settings to make caves and structures more visible. Increasing contrast between solid blocks and empty space helps caves stand out. Some players prefer cooler tones for better cave detection, while others adjust for personal preference.
Test and Adapt
Settings changes take effect immediately. Try different configurations during exploration to find what works best for your hardware and playstyle.
