Track Your Death Location Across Dimensions

Using the Death Compass

When you respawn after dying, the mod automatically places a tracking compass in your inventory. This compass always points toward the exact location where you died, even if that location is in a different dimension than where you currently are.

Finding Your Items

1. Check your inventory for the death compass after respawning

2. Hold the compass in your hand or offhand

3. Watch the needle—it will point directly toward your death location

4. Follow the needle's direction to navigate back to your dropped items

Checking Distance and Coordinates

If you want precise information before traveling:

1. Type /deathinfo in chat

2. The command displays your exact death coordinates, current distance away, and which dimension your death point is in

3. Use this information to plan your route or decide if the journey is worth it

If your death location is in another dimension, the compass will alert you. You'll need to travel through a portal to reach it. The compass remains functional across all dimensions, so it will continue guiding you once you arrive in the correct realm.
