Reset Plugin Settings Without Restarting the Server

When to Reload Configuration

Server administrators may update the plugin's configuration file to change settings like compass behavior, item despawn times, or other features. Instead of restarting the entire server, you can reload just the plugin.

Reloading the Plugin

1. Type /deathpointcompass reload in chat

2. The plugin will reload its configuration settings immediately

3. All players currently online will have the updated settings applied

4. No server restart is required

What Gets Reloaded

This command refreshes the plugin's internal settings from the configuration file. Changes take effect instantly for all players. However, death compasses already in players' inventories won't be affected—only new compasses received after the reload will use updated settings.

Note: Only server administrators or players with appropriate permissions can use the reload command. If you lack permission, contact your server administrator to perform the reload.
