Set Up Your First Kinetic Storage Network

Gather Your Mechanical Components

Before crafting any storage blocks, you'll need to produce the kinetic parts required by this data pack. Build a basic Create setup with a motor or water wheel to generate rotational power. You'll need to craft gears and shafts through mechanical means—these replace the standard crafting ingredients for storage blocks.

Craft Storage Blocks Through Machinery

Once your kinetic system is running, use mechanical crafters or similar Create machinery to process your components into storage blocks. The data pack redirects traditional storage recipes to require these mechanical parts instead of basic materials.

Place your completed storage blocks near your power source. They'll function exactly like normal storage blocks, but now they're integrated into your progression tree. This encourages you to expand your mechanical infrastructure as your storage needs grow.

Connect Multiple Storage Units

As you craft more storage blocks, position them close together to form a network. Your kinetic power system should be nearby to support any additional machinery you add for sorting, filtering, or automation.
