Enable or Disable Shoreline Foam Effects

Open Shader Configuration

Access the Justwaves shader settings menu from your shader mod interface. This is usually found in the graphics or shader options section of your game settings.

Locate Foam and Beach Settings

Find the option controlling shoreline foam and wet sand effects. This setting toggles the animated foam that appears where waves meet the beach, and the wet appearance of sand as water recedes.

Toggle Foam On or Off

Enable foam effects for a more realistic, lively beach appearance with visible wave breaks and spray. Disable this option if you prefer a cleaner look or want to reduce visual complexity. Some players disable foam on lower-end systems for better performance, though Justwaves is designed to be lightweight.

Observe Changes

Travel to a sandy beach or shoreline and watch how the foam behaves with your new setting. Enabled foam creates dynamic breaking waves and wet sand transitions; disabled foam removes these effects while keeping base wave motion intact. Adjust based on your visual preference and performance needs.
