Making Arrows Easier to Track in Flight
Why Arrow Visibility Matters
With Itemed Arrows Shaders, your flying arrows now appear as flat 2D sprites instead of 3D models. This makes them significantly easier to spot mid-flight, especially in complex terrain or during combat.
How to Use This to Your Advantage
When shooting arrows at distance or in cluttered environments, the item sprite form makes arrows stand out more clearly against backgrounds. You can now:
- Track arrow trajectories more easily by watching the flat sprite move through the air
- Spot arrows lodged in blocks faster, since the 2D item icon is more visually distinct than a thin 3D model
- Aim follow-up shots more accurately by seeing exactly where your previous arrow landed
This is particularly useful when:
- Hunting mobs in forests or caves where 3D arrows blend into terrain
- Shooting at distant targets where small 3D models are hard to see
- Retrieving arrows after combat to reuse them
The mod applies automatically to all arrows—yours, other players', and skeleton arrows—so the entire game world uses this clearer visual style. No configuration needed; simply play normally and benefit from improved arrow visibility.
