Set Up Your First Junk List for Mining

Create Your Item Throw List

Start by identifying which items you want automatically dropped while mining. Common junk includes dirt, gravel, cobblestone, and stone variants.

Open chat and type /ic additem <item> for each unwanted block. For example:

  • /ic additem dirt
  • /ic additem gravel
  • /ic additem cobblestone

Use underscores instead of spaces for multi-word items (like oak_wood).

Protect Your Tools

Before activating the cleaner, lock your hotbar slots containing pickaxes, swords, or other essential tools. Use /ic lockslot <slot> where slot numbers run from 1–9 across your hotbar.

For example: /ic lockslot 1 locks your first hotbar slot.

Activate and Test

Press your assigned toggle key to enable automatic cleaning. Gather a few blocks and watch your inventory—junk items should disappear while your locked slots and ores stay safe. If something important gets dropped, use /ic delitem <item> to remove it from the throw list and try again.
