Make Integrated Villages Spawn More Frequently
Reduce the Spacing Value
The spacing setting controls the average distance between town generation attempts. A smaller spacing value means towns will try to generate closer together, resulting in more frequent encounters.
1. Open your data pack files and locate the structures configuration file
2. Find the spacing parameter (default is typically set to a moderate value)
3. Decrease this number—lower values create denser town distribution
4. Remember: spacing must be larger than your separation value, or the configuration will fail
5. Save the file and restart your world
Test Your Changes
After adjusting spacing, travel to unexplored chunks to see the new generation rate. If towns still feel too sparse, reduce spacing further. If they feel cramped, you can always increase it again. Keep in mind that spacing affects the *average* distance, so some variation is normal.
Note: Very low spacing values may impact world generation performance. Test incrementally rather than jumping to extreme values.
