Enable Custom Container Textures in Your Game
Prerequisites
Ingot UI Resource Pack requires a mod loader to display custom container textures. You'll need either OptiFine or OptiGUI installed alongside the resource pack.
Installation Steps
1. Load the resource pack into your resource packs folder (.minecraft/resourcepacks/)
2. Activate it in your Resource Packs menu—drag it to the right side to enable it
3. Verify your mod loader is active:
- If using OptiFine: Check that it's installed and active in your launcher
- If using OptiGUI: Ensure the mod is loaded in your mods folder
4. Launch your world and open any container (chest, furnace, crafting table)
5. Confirm the new styling appears—you should see themed colors and borders matching the block type
Troubleshooting
If containers still show vanilla textures:
- Confirm the resource pack is listed as active (not grayed out)
- Restart your game completely
- Check that OptiFine or OptiGUI is actually loaded (look for their splash screen on startup)
- Ensure no conflicting resource packs are ranked higher in your list
