Ingot UI Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why don't my container textures look different after installing the pack?
You need to enable custom container textures in your mod settings (OptiFine or OptiGUI). Without this enabled, the resource pack cannot override the default container appearance.
Do I need OptiFine or can I use OptiGUI instead?
Either works—the pack is compatible with both OptiFine and OptiGUI. Choose whichever mod you already have installed or prefer.
Will this pack work with my other resource packs?
It depends on load order and what the other packs modify. If another pack also changes container textures, they may conflict; place Ingot UI higher or lower in your resource pack list to control which takes priority.
How do I make shulker box containers match their dye color?
The pack automatically applies color-matched themes to shulker boxes based on their dye type—no extra configuration needed. Open any dyed shulker box and the container interface will reflect its color.
Does this pack affect my game performance?
No, it maintains the standard 16x pixel resolution and only reskins textures, so it has minimal impact on performance.
Which workstations and storage blocks are restyled?
The pack includes custom themes for crafting tables, anvils, looms, stonecutters, grindstones, cartography tables, chests, barrels, droppers, furnaces, and mob storage like horses, llamas, and villagers.
Can I use this pack on a multiplayer server?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use Ingot UI on any server without affecting other players.
What happens if I disable the mod—do my container designs stay?
No, disabling OptiFine or OptiGUI will revert all containers to their default appearance since the pack relies on these mods to display custom textures.
Does the pack change how containers actually function or just look?
It only changes appearance—all container mechanics, inventory slots, and crafting recipes work exactly as normal.
Will this pack work with modded containers from other mods?
Only if the modded containers use standard Minecraft container textures; containers from other mods may not be restyled unless Ingot UI includes specific support for them.
