Work with Bamboo Blocks and Nether Wood
Using Specialty Wood Types
This pack enhances wood blocks beyond the Overworld. Bamboo, crimson stems, and warped stems all receive 3D model upgrades that make them distinct and visually appealing.
Building with specialty woods:
1. Place bamboo blocks in jungle biomes or dedicated bamboo groves. The pack gives them a rounded, bundled appearance—they look like actual stalks bound together rather than flat squares.
2. Orient bamboo vertically to emphasize the bundle effect. Horizontal placement shows the circular cross-section of the 3D model.
3. Use Nether wood for themed builds. Crimson stems have a deep red color with 3D bark texture, perfect for Nether fortresses or dark fantasy structures. Warped stems offer a blue-green alternative.
4. Strip Nether wood blocks just like Overworld logs. The exposed interior has unique colors—crimson wood is lighter inside, warped wood has a pale blue tone—and the 3D model makes these details pop.
5. Mix Nether wood with regular logs for contrast in hybrid builds. The color differences are enhanced by the improved 3D textures.
6. Combine with appropriate biome blocks. Use crimson wood in red Nether forests and warped wood in soul sand valleys for cohesive theming.
These specialty woods deserve the same attention as standard logs—their improved models make them building-worthy.
