Create Realistic Forests and Natural Landscapes

Landscaping with Improved Log Models

The 3D log models transform how forests look in your world. With rounded, realistic tree trunks, even small wooded areas feel more immersive and detailed.

Landscaping approach:

1. Plant varied tree types across your forest. The pack improves all standard wood types—oak, birch, spruce, jungle, acacia, and dark oak—each with unique bark textures and ring patterns. Mixing them creates visual variety.

2. Leave fallen logs on the ground by placing log blocks horizontally. The 3D models make these look like actual downed trees rather than flat blocks, adding realism to forest floors.

3. Build tree houses and platforms using the improved logs. The rounded appearance makes wooden structures feel more organic and less blocky.

4. Layer logs at different heights to create dense canopy areas. The depth of the 3D models becomes apparent when viewing overlapping trunks.

5. Combine with Nether wood in fantasy landscapes. Crimson and warped stems have their own 3D models and striking colors for otherworldly forests.

6. Use bamboo blocks for jungle areas. The pack gives bamboo a rounded, bundled appearance that complements natural jungle terrain.

The improved models make forests feel alive and textured rather than repetitive.
