Crushing Ores and Making Coal Coke

Set up the Crusher

Build the Crusher multiblock from Basic Engineering Block and Steel components. Feed it raw ore to get crushed output plus bonus dust, roughly doubling your metal yield. Power it with a kinetic source such as a water wheel or windmill connected by Aluminium Wire.

Coke oven for Coal Coke

Build a Coke Brick oven and load coal. It produces Coal Coke, the fuel for the Blast Furnace Preheater and steel production. Store output as Block of Coal Coke or Coal Coke Slab. The same oven line feeds Creosote for treating wood.

Process the outputs

Crushed ore goes into a furnace or Blast Furnace for ingots. Use the Crusher on other inputs too: it handles the two crusher recipes registered by the mod, so check JEI for valid items before feeding the belt.

Move materials

Run Aluminium Sheetmetal Chute lines or conveyors to carry crushed ore and Coal Coke between machines. Aluminium Scaffolding and Aluminium Catwalk make safe walkways over the machinery. Keep a Breaker Switch on the power line so you can cut the Crusher without dismantling wiring.
