Find and Collect All Wolf Variants

Biome-by-Biome Hunting

Each wolf variant spawns naturally in specific biomes. Visit these locations to encounter them:

• Auburn Wolf: Windswept hills and windswept forests
• Sandy Wolf: Desert biomes (spawns directly on sand blocks)
• Phase Wolf: Swamp and mangrove swamp biomes
• Tawny Wolf: Bright sunflower plains
• White Wolf: Old growth birch forests
• Slate Wolf: Dense dark forests
• Wolshroom: Mushroom islands (rare spawn)
• Classic Wolf: Cherry groves

Taming and Advancement Tracking

Once you locate a wolf variant, tame it using bones as you would with standard wolves. Each tamed wolf counts toward The Whole Pack advancement, which has been updated to include all eight new canine breeds. Collect one of each variant to unlock the full advancement and see your complete wolf collection recognized in your stats.

Note: Sandy Wolves won't sink into powdered snow, making them particularly useful for snowy exploration. Phase Wolves adapt well to wet environments, so expect to find them near water in swamps.
