Discover All Cat Variants in Villages

Locating Village Cats

The eight new cat variants spawn naturally alongside standard cats in village settlements. Unlike wolves, cats don't require travel to specific biomes—any village will contain a mix of both classic and new coat patterns. Explore multiple villages to increase your chances of encountering each type:

• Turkish Van, Colorpoint, Chocolate, Spotted, Dark Grey, Silver Tabby, Sunbleached, and Tortie

Taming and Catalog Completion

Tame cats using string or raw fish. Each new feline coat you tame contributes to the A Complete Catalog advancement, which tracks every new cat variant. This advancement has been updated specifically to recognize all eight additions.

Visit villages at different times and in different regions—cat spawning is random, so patience and exploration across multiple settlements will help you complete your collection faster. Once you've tamed one of each variant, your catalog advancement will be fully unlocked.
