Upgrade Dragon Scale Armor to Dragonsteel Armor

Preparing Your Armor Pieces

You can upgrade any dragon scale armor piece individually:

• Helmet
• Chestplate
• Leggings
• Boots

Each piece requires its own upgrade materials, so plan accordingly if you want a full set.

Upgrading at the Smithing Table

1. Open a smithing table.

2. Place a netherite upgrade smithing template in the left slot.

3. Place your dragon scale armor piece in the middle slot.

4. Place a dragonsteel ingot (matching the armor's element) in the right slot.

5. Collect your upgraded dragonsteel armor piece from the output.

Building a Complete Set

Repeat this process for each armor piece you want to upgrade. Since upgrades are done individually, you can mix and match elements if desired, though keeping a single element is recommended for consistency. Upgraded dragonsteel armor retains enchantments from the original dragon scale piece.
