Enable or Disable Water Reflections

Open Shader Configuration

Access the shader options menu in-game and navigate to HSN Shaders settings.

Locate Reflection Options

Find the water reflection toggle or reflection quality setting. HSN Shaders includes simple water reflections designed to have minimal performance impact, so this option may be labeled as "Water Reflections," "Reflections," or "Surface Reflections."

Toggle Reflections On or Off

If reflections are enabled and you want a cleaner, simpler look, disable them. If they're off and you want to see the sky and surroundings reflected in water surfaces, turn them on.

Check Performance Impact

Enable reflections and monitor your frame rate in areas with large bodies of water. HSN Shaders is optimized for low-end systems, so reflections should have minimal impact. If you notice frame drops, you can disable them or reduce reflection quality if that option is available.

Save and Observe

Apply changes and visit oceans, lakes, or rivers to see the effect in action.
