Grappling Hook Mod — Configuration

Configuration

The mod is highly configurable via the grapplinghook.cfg file or the Cloth Config API menu. Key parameters include:

  • Max Rope Length: Default is 30 blocks, but can be increased to 999,999 for 'infinite' range.
  • Swing Speed: Adjusts how much influence WASD keys have on momentum.
  • Fall Damage: Can be toggled globally or set to be mitigated only when using specific hooks.
  • Rocket Fuel: Adjusts the capacity and regeneration rate of the rocket upgrade.
  • Phasing: Allows the rope to pass through blocks (useful for preventing the rope from getting 'stuck' on corners).
